Ken Ludba has been a key member of Masse Sales since he started with the company back in 1997. After growing his territory in the Lower Mainland for a number of years, Ken came to the owners with a simple question: “I’m moving to Kelowna, would you like me to open an office there?” In the years since his move, Ken has worked hard travelling from Kelowna to the edge of Alberta and back on a regular basic, helping woodworking companies grow their businesses.
Ken started his career working in production, and was “discovered” by Masse while he was operating a moulder. The partner who first met Ken immediately liked his drive and initiative, and correctly decided Ken would be a good fit with our company. Ken’s understanding of how a woodworking shop actually works turned out to be a great asset, not only when talking to business owners, but when evaluating new products and suppliers.
Ken was instrumental in helping build a number of our supplier relationships, but the one that sticks out the most to me is the tenacity Ken showed teaching me about Great Lakes Custom Tooling. Without Ken’s push, we would probably not have the excellent relationship we enjoy with GLCT today.
We wish Ken and his wife Judy all the best, and we hope that he drops in to see us between trips to Europe!
