Precision Perske Style SYOZ 25 spring collets are DIN 6388 standard, made from high-carbon steel, and precisely machined to achieve T.I.R. of 0.0004″ or less. They have a collapse range of 1/64″ to allow for versatility in size. Fits all SYOZ 25 style toolholders.
Usage tips:
- Snap collet into the nut before screwing nut onto the spindle or collet holder.
- Protect from rust during storage with rust preventative spray. Remove preventative before placing into service.
- Use correct concentration of cutting fluids to prevent corrosion.
- Always check collets for scoring or wear. Replace if worn or damaged.
- Collets will lose their resiliency over time, and should be replaced regularly.
